Wingate - Tel Aviv extension

Founded in 1944, the Academic College at Wingate has thousands of graduates from its academic and certification studies every year in a diverse range of disciplines; it also offers a pre-academic preparatory program (Mechina). The college is located south of Netanya at the Wingate Institute campus, on the coastal road. The Academic College at Wingate offers academic studies of a high standard to train a cadre of professionals in the fields of sport, physical education, coaching, active recreation, dance, rehabilitation through movement and health. The college was established to provide and promote professional training in teaching, coaching, management and leadership in the areas of sport and movement. The Academic College at Wingate is also a center for supplementary studies, continuing education and in-service training for those engaging in these fields. To heighten public awareness about the contribution of the world of movement to the development and optimal functioning of the individual. The Academic College at Wingate runs a variety of schools, such as: Complementary Medicine, Certifying Sports Instructors and Coaches, Challenge Tourism, Security and Emergency Management, Sports Medicine and Methodology, etc. The Academic College at Wingate is deployed countrywide, operating nine external studies units: Kiryat Haim, Afula-Nazareth, Arad, Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Ashdod, Rishon Lezion, Eilat, and for the ultra-Orthodox community.
